THE ELECTED
The whole scene is permeated by a harmonious and peaceful atmosphere with the sweet and serene expression on the faces of the Blessed and their beautiful bodies.
In the golden sky of the background that helps perceive the divine presence are angels playing for the elected showering them with rose petals and placing the “crown of virtue” on their heads to help them towards the prize of an eternal promise that is Paradise.
The contrast between the scene of the Damned and that of the Elected is remarkable in that it indicates the importance of the choice of loving God on earth to then merit the reward of Heaven.

Tutta la scena è permeata da un’atmosfera armoniosa e pacata. I Beati mostrano volti sereni con espressioni dolcissime e con bellissimi corpi.
Sullo sfondo del cielo dorato, che fa percepire la presenza divina, gli angeli suonano per gli eletti, li cospargono di petali di fiori e posano sulle loro teste la “corona della virtù” per accompagnarli, infine, verso il premio eterno promesso: il Paradiso.
Notevole è il contrasto tra la scena dei Dannati e quella degli Eletti, quasi a indicare all’osservatore l’importanza della scelta di amare Dio sulla Terra per meritare poi la ricompensa nell’aldilà.
